We woke up in Lusk, Wyoming for a leisurely morning having breakfast at the hotel before our final stretch of road into the Black Hills. Dom needed to change his oil, Gaylin needed to make some minor fixes on his road king, and some of us needed a little extra rest after an eventful 5 days on the road so far. From Lusk to Deadwood is just under 140 miles, so we took our time riding into town and we were looking forward to staying in one place for a while!

As always, we rode by the Sturgis sign to take some group pics, then made our way over to the Boar's Nest Roadhouse for our yearly ritual of getting a boar burger before cruising into the house! We've stayed in downtown Sturgis during the rally many times, but nowadays we like to stay in Deadwood and that's where we rolled into shortly after the Boar's Nest! The rest of the night was mellow, with dinner at Jacob's Brewhouse and some time at the bars before calling it a night as we got ready for some great times at the rally!
