US Highway 14A (also called the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway) runs ~19-20 miles through the canyon from the town of Spearfish to Cheyenne Crossing near Lead/Deadwood. We had ridden sections of it in prior years but didn't ride the entire stretch until 2023 and it has been a staple in our Sturgis schedule ever since. You can see trees, waterfalls, wildlife, beautiful creeks, and some old brick buildings and hidden gems along the way. 

That night, we got dinner at Jacob's Brewhouse then walked around downtown Deadwood for a relaxing night in anticipation of a night out in Sturgis before the end of the trip.

The following day, we met up with the Thrashin' crew to get a solid group ride in. With no schedule in mind, we decided to run to Nemo and the surrounding areas and the group had a blast spending the afternoon on two wheels! We got lunch at the Nemo Mercantile that had some taco and beer stands outside. 

After the scenic ride, we checked out Black Hills Harley-Davidson to pick up some shirts then made our way to the Airport to pick up the ladies to show many of them their first Sturgis Rally! We took them to the Thunderdome to see Colby Raha jump his Harley 200+ feet then headed back into town with some fun times ahead the next few days!
