We met up off Kanan, and rode out to The Rock Store which is at one end of this section of Mulholland Highway known as "The Snake". It runs from The Rock Store to Kanan and is home to endless curves and some awesome views. Over the years, it has become a hotspot for motorcyclists, sports car drivers, and photographers, and unfortunately there have been quite a few accidents over the years.

The road was closed due to mudslides and fires, but there was also some input from locals who grew tired of all of the loud racing going on late at night. 

Being at one end of The Snake, The Rock Store benefitted greatly from all of the through traffic and things chaged for them quite a bit when the road was shut down. We have gotten to know the owner, Rich over the years so we figured we'd go chat with him about how he sees the future of the road and the Rock Store now that The Snake is re-open!
