Los Angeles to Grand Canyon Adventure!

Part 1

Come with us on the first leg of our journey from Los Angeles to the beautiful Grand Canyon. Here we bring you through some historic landmarks and good eats, a massive underground cave, all while riding through scenic sunny days. We brought our wives along with us, and they definitely enjoyed the trip as well! Nothing beats the open road with good people!

Part 2

In the 2nd half of our trip, we ride from Williams Arizona to the Grand Canyon, this time seeing a little more action from the weather! We hit some rain, wind, and snow, but that always makes the journey more exciting and you can't beat the fresh air and views right after a fresh rain!

If getting to the destination as fast as possible was the goal, we'd just fly! Fortunately half the reason for these trips is the journey itself. We might not take the fastest root, but we always take the scenic route, and it's worth it every time. Theres nothing that compares to seeing the changing landscapes from the open road and you never know what kind of surprises you might get to see along the way!

If you click on the image of the map, you will find a link to the routes that we took on our scenic ride, and can take the trip yourself if you choose to do so. Whether it's in a motorcycle or a car, many of these places have breathtaking views and experiences in store.

And what is a real road trip without some good eats and stays along the way?

Eats

Through our years of touring and trying different restaurants, we've picked out a few of our favorites on the way to the Grand Canyon. Great views and great food!

El Tovar Dining Room

Stays

The Lodge on Route 66

As you may have seen already, we stay at The Lodge on Route 66 on our way to a lot of different places. They have a friendly staff, clean & comfy rooms, and they let us park the bikes under the awning when it rains!

Bright Angel Lodge & Cabins

The Bright Angel Lodge on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is a sight to be seen, and is accompanied by great views in a nice cozy setting.
