We met up with the THRASHIN' and FEULING crews in SoCal, then made our way to Arizona for our first stop of the night, with some obstacles, heat, and a few breakdowns along the way. Normally, being on our modern touring bikes, we're cruising at higher speeds with gas stops few and far between, never experiencing any mechanical failures, but this year we wanted to try something different for the theme of the trip and riding these relatively older bikes changed things up and made it one exciting ride!

Everyone was always willing to help with various experience and knowledge in the mechanical world and it was fun to put our heads together to solve problems and keep it moving!

After a 400 mile day that felt like double, we eventually rolled into the beautiful Grand Canyon Caverns Campground for our first night of camping and we could tell already that this was going to be one of our favorite trips to Sturgis ever!
