We've spent years exploring back roads all over the country and have seen some incredible things along the way, but there's nothing quite like experiencing what your own backyard has to offer! This year, we've set a goal of sharing more of the iconic SoCal rides in our area, and this is one of them!

Starting out at home base in Canoga Park, CA we hit the road to cruise Big Tujunga Canyon, the Big Pine Highway, and all of the scenic roads that lead to the mountain town of Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Lake is a popular town for outdoor recreation, especially during winter months when ski season is in action. During the warmer months, travelers from near and far come to enjoy the lake, hiking and mountain biking trails, do some off-roading, and ride motorcycles along all of the winding mountain roads in the area.

While this is a ride we could have done in a single day, taking our time to get out to Big Bear and spend the night, checking out local shops and restaurants was definitely the way to go.
