We rolled into the event and got to shake hands, hear stories, and see some new faces for a few hours before relaxing for a bit and grabbing a great group meal at Legends Steakhouse with the Thrashin' crew later that night and spent some time at a few bars in downtown Sturgis.

The next day was the start of our ride home and although we had planned on hitting the road early, sometimes things come up and after a late start we decided one last stop at the Boar's Nest couldn't hurt. After all...it was pretty much lunch time anyway. 

We eventually got on the road, stopping in Lusk, WY for our first gas stop and running into an awesome group from Indonesia and Colorado who were on their way in to the rally. It was awesome hearing their stories and very cool for us to experience their support with a group from all over the map! It was a long day of riding but we felt great under the warm sun, eventually landing in Rawling, WY sometime around 10pm. There was only one joint in town that was open that late and serving a sit down meal, so we made our way over to the County 6 Bar & Grill, not quite sure what to expect given its appearance. Needless to say, after some jokes from the waitress, heavy drink pours, and some 10oz steaks where every last bit down to the grizzle was tender and tasty, we were glad we ended up there. It actually ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip.

We split up between a few hotels and knocked out with a couple more long days of riding ahead of us!
