We met up with the Thrashin' crew and hit the road from 2Lane HQ taking the straight shot route most of the way. After some steady miles and a quick gas stop, we pulled into Quartzsite, California for lunch at the Mountain Quail Cafe, a good 'ol American joint with burgers, sandwiches, steaks, and all of that good stuff. It was starting to get warm so the lunch stop made for a quick break from the sun before our next stretch of road.

Some locals recommended we get off I10 and spend time time on 60 so cover some distance on the 2Lanes and it was a worthwhile decision. Open roads, high speed, and great desert views all around. Our second to last stop before the final stretch was in Wickenburg, AZ for some coffee and to watch our video premiere on YouTube, then a nice 75 mile ride into Scottsdale where we rented an AirBnB for the whole crew to share. The following days would be spent riding all around, so we took it easy on night 1 with a nice dinner at The Mexicano right in town and kicked back at the house to get ready for our first official day at the rally.
