The 2LaneLife Story - Our Mission & Purpose

2LaneLife
Two moto-vloggers passionate about traveling and the open road.

Riding has the ability to bring people together from all walks of life. Getting out on the open road, seeing new things, and meeting new people is an experience that words can't completely describe. You just have to get out there and see it for yourself. Through our years of riding, we've learned so much about routes, locations, parts, and much more.  With that, we figured theres no better way than to start a youtube and blog, tell our story, and hopefully inspire more people to get out and experience for themselves!

We've been sharing our experiences here and there on social media for years now.  With that, we've built relationships with brands who's quality products we choose to run, and for good reason. Eventually, after receiving tons of questions and feedback, we realized that consolidating all of our content into a central platform where those interested can learn about rides and products was something that we had to do. We're eternally grateful for all of the support we've received so far, and it drives us to keep going on this journey!

When it comes to long rides, or any rides for that matter, there is no room for inferior parts or components. Through our years of riding and trying out different brands, we've come to consider a select group of brands that we have complete confidence in. The parts on our site will always be from brands that we have tested, and that have proven themselves to be of superior quality. This way, everyone living the 2LaneLife can have fun and reliable machines, that will keep the miles coming for years to come!

We've known each other for over over 25 years, and have ridden together for 5. Over the past 5 years, we have logged more than 125,000 miles. We're excited to continue this journey and bring our friends along with us! We have a deep passion for America and the open roads it has to offer, and we hope to inspire you to get out and explore this great country as well!

We have been running all of the products on our site for years, and for good reason. When it comes to parts, there is no room for sub-par goods, throughout the years we have found what really works for us and we're excited to share these with you.

Just watched your cold weather gear video. Lots of layers you need to put on to stay warm. Here in the north part of Europe i ride when its below 32 degrees with only a short sleeve T-shirt, Gerbing heated vest with heated sleeves and and all weather jacket. Enough to keep me warm all the time.

Hi guys, another cold rainy day here in the UK. Just going through some motorcycling vids on youtube and came across one of your recent rides down through Arizona to Tombstone and Bisbee. About 18 years ago I was fortunate enough to visit Phoenix via a company I worked for. It gave us an opportunity to do a little sightseeing of our own and in one weekend we visited the Grand canyon, the meteor crater just outside Flagstaff, tombstone and then we got lost in Bisbee. Just watching your movie brought back some great memories of sunnier and warmer times. I still have the sweatshirt from Big nose Kates. Just a thank you for posting your journeys for us to share. I now have the rest of your journeys to enjoy. Ride safe and thanks.

    Hey guys,

Here in Moriarty, NM we have an old guy that still runs a service station from the old 66 days. He loves to talk about the good old days. Though he no longer sells Gas he still fixes tires.

I hope to see you come through.
